The WÖHR-keyboard controller series mtcon has been developed for the easy connexion of specific keyboards to computer architectures via PC keyboard interfaces or RS232-interaces.

A maximum of 128 keys can be connected to the controller. The keys are controlled via a 8x16 matrix or 16x16 matrix. N-key rollover is possible.

The following connexions are possible in addition:

7 light-emitting diodes
external piezo
external voltage supply
PC keyboard interface
RS-232C-interface
second keyboard interface

The second keyboard interface serves for the connexion of a second keyboard. The two keyboards can be operated at the same time.
