The WÖHR - keyboard controller series mtcon has been developed for the easy connexion of specific keyboards to computer architectures via PC keyboard interfaces or RS232-interfaces.

A maximum of 128 keys can be connected to the controller. The keys are controlled via a 8 x 16 matrix or 16 x 16 matrix. N-key rollover is possible.

The following connexions are possible in addition:

• 7 light-emitting diodes
• external piezo
• external voltage supply
• PC keyboard interface
• RS-232C-interface
• second keyboard interface

The second keyboard interface serves for the connexion of a second keyboard. The two keyboards can be operated at the same time.
